Brian started as a Housing Specialist with HOM, Inc. in October 2001. Brian now serves as the Operations Manager at HOM, Inc. Brian’s responsibilities include oversight of the day-to-day operations of the housing programs, monitoring compliance with program and contract requirements, and supervision of program staff.

Brian obtained his Arizona Real Estate License in August of 1999 while working for Petersen Properties as a Property Manager. Brian was responsible for the day-to-day management of 600 apartment units throughout the Phoenix Metro area. While working as a property manager Brian was able to gain experience with landlord/tenant relationships and with Arizona landlord/tenant law.

Brian is a member of the Arizona chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), and he has received certification from NAHRO for Section 8 Eligibility and Rent Calculation. Brian has also obtained certification for Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections from Nan McKay.

In December 2005, Brian completed a Bachelors degree in Business Administration at Ottawa University. He is currently attending Ottawa University to complete his Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Brian is married and has four children. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball in his free time.
