Michael began his career in affordable, homeless and special needs housing with HOM, Inc., as its first employee in July 1994. Michael has served in a variety of positions with the company throughout its history, including Housing Specialist, HQS Inspector, Operations Coordinator and Chief Operating Officer, prior to becoming owner of the company in 2005.

Michael currently serves as President and CEO of HOM, Inc., providing leadership for the company towards the achievement of its mission and strategic goals.  As the primary spokesperson and representative of the company, Michael seeks to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in the community.  During his tenure at HOM, Inc., Michael has grown the company through steady increases in housing program funding and the addition of consulting and service contracts with local housing agencies; including the Arizona Department of Housing, the City of Phoenix Housing Department and the City of Scottsdale Community Assistance Office.

A proud Sun Devil, Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.  He is the Designated Real Estate Broker for HOM, Inc., and is an active member of the Arizona and Pacific Southwest chapters of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). He maintains industry certifications of Public Housing Manager, Housing Quality Standards Inspections, and is designated as a Certified Credit Compliance Professional for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.  Michael currently serves as a Director for the Board of the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness and as a member of the 100,000 Homes Campaign's national leadership team.

Michael was honored to be selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's Forty Under 40, Class of 2011.

Michael has been in the Valley of the Sun since 1990, and truly calls Arizona his home. Michael was married in March 2003 and became a father in May 2005. He enjoys married life and fatherhood immensely. In his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf, watching and attending sporting events, and traveling with his family.
