Sharon Shore, Founder of HOM, Inc. founded the company in July of 1994. Sharon recognized the need for a competent and skilled company to manage federal rental assistance programs, which were targeting special needs populations.

Sharon spent over 20 years in the assisted housing industry including serving as the Executive Director of the Casper Wyoming and the Scottsdale Arizona Housing Authorities. She was also appointed to serve as the Special Assistant to the Regional Administrator of HUD in Denver Colorado. Under Sharon's leadership, the Casper Housing Authority received the award from HUD for the "Most Improved PHA" in the nation.

Sharon has also been recognized by Working Woman Magazine for General Excellence in their Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards and was the recipient of the Woman of Achievement award as presented by Maricopa County YWCA.

Sharon is active in community organizations and frequently donates her time to non-profit entities that work with the homeless and entities that further women's issues. She is married and has two grown children and three grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys her family and golf.
