HOM, Inc. is a leader in innovative solutions that end homelessness for special needs populations. We are proud to extend our services to Arizona's Veterans through our partnership with the Arizona Department of Veterans Services. We firmly believe that no Veteran should experience homelessness. We take seriously our role as a partner in Arizona’s mission to end Veteran homelessness.
HOM, Inc. partners with the Arizona Department of Veterans Services and Arizona Veterans Supportive Services to assist Arizona Veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF/OIF) to secure and maintain affordable, decent, and safe housing in our community. Program participants benefit from our excellent relationships with Valley landlords, expertise in supportive housing, and HOM’s caring customer service.
The Transition in Place (TIP) program assists eligible Veterans in the payment of rental application fees and security deposits and six months of rental assistance for rental units in the community. The TIP program l provides our nation’s heroes housing stability while they transition into civilian life. Veterans work with Arizona Veterans Supportive Services to find employment, apply for benefits, receive medical care, and work toward full self sufficiency.
The Transition in Place (TIP) program is funded through the Arizona Military Family Relief Fund to assist Arizona Veterans.
