Morris has experience in real estate sales, property management, finance and social services. Morris’s primary responsibility at HOM, Inc., is outreach, education and recruitment of new landlords for our housing programs. He will also help participants locate and secure permanent housing through the Valley of the Sun United Way Rapid Rehousing Program and the City of Phoenix Housing Department’s PSH 275 project, utilizing Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Morris recently worked with Central Arizona Shelter Services and Arizona Housing, Inc., as a Housing Case Coordinator where he assisted chronically homeless individuals and helped them maintain housing.

Morris started with HOM, Inc., in August of 2017 and currently holds an active real estate license. He also owns a private real estate investment company, and is very familiar with working with investors, landlords and tenants.

A native of Detroit, MI, Morris attended University of Maine at Fort Kent where he earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and majored in Bachelor of Science-Social Science. After college, he had the opportunity of playing pro basketball internationally.

Prior to returning to Arizona in 2013, he coached college, prep, and high school basketball. As a college coach, he helped his Alma Mater win 2010 Sunrise Conference Championship and earn a bid to NAIA DII Men’s Basketball National Tournament.

Morris has a passion for assisting others and is dedicated to ending homelessness.
