Peggy joined HOM, Inc. in November of 2003 as the Administrative Assistant; providing support to the Housing Specialists and management. In March 2005, Peggy moved into the Housing Specialist position. In February 2009, Peggy has moved on to her next challenge at HOM, Inc. as Owner Support Specialist.

As Owner Support Specialist, Peggy is responsible for processing lease renewals, which includes coordinating lease renewals with the annual recertification of participants, approving rent increases, determining rent reasonableness, negotiating lease terms and tracking all lease renewal processes to completion. Peggy also handles all changes in property ownership and/or management, manages the HAP direct deposit enrollment program and manages the processes for the disposition of security deposits, and claims for damages and vacancy loss.

Prior to joining HOM, Inc., Peggy worked in property management beginning in 1991. Beginning as an Administrative Assistant with a property management company, she dealt with the Section 8 HCV Program, Farmers Home Loan Administration, LIHTC Program and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority in areas of reporting and compliance. Peggy moved on to the position of Property Manager, overseeing management of a multi-family complex and new construction of a Section 42 LIHTC housing community, eventually managing four multi-family housing communities; serving as manager, leasing consultant and staff supervisor. Peggy decided to relocate to Arizona in 2003 from central Michigan to join her two sons and grandchildren.

Peggy has received certification in Housing Choice Voucher Occupancy, Certified Professional Secretary and has completed numerous seminars in Fair Housing, professional leasing and management training. In 2009, Peggy obtained her Arizona Real Estate License.
