North Carolina Services

Ending homelessness requires more than funding—it requires strong partnerships, efficient program administration, and housing opportunities that move people into stable homes quickly.

HOM partners with the Durham community to strengthen local housing systems through two integrated service areas: Flexible Housing Assistance Administration and Landlord Engagement. Together, these services help streamline housing assistance, expand landlord participation, and increase successful housing placements for those exiting homelessness.

Our experienced team combines operational excellence with relationship-driven service, allowing local governments, Continuums of Care, housing authorities, and service providers to focus on what matters most—helping people achieve permanent housing.

Technology for Better Housing Outcomes

HOM embraces technology that improves collaboration, transparency, and efficiency across the housing process. Our team utilizes leading housing platforms, including Padmission Connect and Journey, to coordinate landlord engagement, administer housing assistance, track available units, and support real-time collaboration among service providers, housing partners, and local stakeholders.

By combining experienced staff with innovative technology, HOM helps communities streamline housing placements, improve communication, increase visibility across the housing process, and make better use of limited housing resources.

A Trusted Partner for North Carolina Communities

Every community has unique housing challenges, but the goal remains the same: helping more people quickly access and maintain stable housing.

HOM brings decades of experience administering housing programs, managing complex funding, and building strong landlord partnerships. We work alongside local governments, Continuums of Care, housing authorities, and nonprofit organizations to create housing systems that are efficient, responsive, and built for long-term success.

Together, we’re expanding housing opportunities and creating stronger pathways home across North Carolina.
